Before the inception of ALL INDIA YOUTH SIKH SANGAT SEWA SAMITI ASSOCIATION, he actively participated in and contributed to religious and social welfare programmes such as blood donation camps, eye-check-up camps, eye operations for poor and needy persons, pension-related paperwork for several widows, and rehabilitation programmes for differently abled people.

After the establishment of the association, he dedicated himself to several social causes and has left no stone unturned to help and reach out to the poor and needy.

Primarily from a religious perspective, the association is actively involved in enhancing the status of Sikh students from poor families studying in government schools in Delhi and those run by MCD under the Delhi Government.

AIYSSSA spreads the essential teachings of Sikhism through light and sound-based programmes. It conducts social and religious programmes and activities in India and abroad with the support of the Sikh Sangat, under the order and vigilance of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji.

All these activities have been possible because of the blessings of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji and the good wishes and support of the Sadh Sangat in India and abroad. We are thankful and grateful to all for bestowing their trust in us.

A MESSAGE ON SIKHISM & HUMANITY

Gurmeet Singh Suri

National Treasure

I would like to stress that Sikhism is recognized worldwide as a unique religion, known for standing firmly for peace, unity, humanity, complete equality, and justice.

Sikhism inspires a positive spiritual mindset, often referred to as Chardi Kala — the spirit of optimism, resilience, and high morale.

Sikhism is a symbol of service, dedication, the upliftment of communities, and a life of dignity and respect. It teaches that all human beings possess equal virtues, irrespective of caste, gender, or social status.

Sikhs continually promote the values of unity and compassion, fostering peace and understanding among people of diverse religions and backgrounds. Through these principles, Sikhism contributes to building a more harmonious, empathetic, and enlightened world.
